Last week, Scouting members will have received a communication from Sid County Commissioner, requesting nominations for the role of District Lead Volunteer in Wyre Forest.
I have given Sid a term's notice, but will probably continue in a handover role until Easter 2025, we will see. I would like to reassure you that I am OK health wise, but I feel that the time is right, and a new more vibrant and energetic leader is needed to guide us all through the changes ahead for this amazing District.
In the meantime, I will continue to fulfil all my duties and responsibilities as DC, and will of course be here if any of you need any support or just want to chat. I am looking forward to remaining with Wyre Forest, and still staying in touch with all my amazing scouting family, you all mean so much 😚
